These Terms of Service explain the rules for using Masoya, including account responsibilities, acceptable use, user content, safety, and account deletion.
By creating an account, accessing, or using Masoya, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the app.
Masoya is intended only for adults who are 18 years of age or older. By using Masoya, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement.
We do not knowingly permit minors to use the app. If we discover that an account belongs to a minor, we may suspend or permanently delete the account.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You may delete your account at any time through the account settings within the app.
You may upload profile photos, personal information, messages, and other content through Masoya.
You retain ownership of your content, but you grant Masoya a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, display, and transmit that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the service.
You are solely responsible for the content you upload or send.

Masoya helps users connect, but we do not guarantee the identity, intentions, or conduct of any user.
Masoya does not perform criminal background checks and does not independently verify all user identities.
You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users.
Our collection and use of personal information is described in the Masoya Privacy Policy. By using Masoya, you also agree to that Privacy Policy.
Masoya uses third-party services such as Google Firebase to provide authentication, storage, notifications, and other essential functionality.
These services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
Masoya, including its software, design, logos, trademarks, and branding (excluding user content), is owned by Masoya and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from any part of the app, except as permitted by law.
We may suspend or permanently terminate your account if you violate these Terms, our Privacy Policy, or applicable laws, or if your activity poses a risk to other users or the service.
You may stop using Masoya at any time and delete your account through the app.
You may delete your account at any time through the app or by using our web-based account deletion request page.
After deletion, we will remove or de-identify your account data from our active systems, except where retention is required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.
Masoya is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the app will always be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties not expressly stated in these Terms.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Masoya and its owners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app or your interactions with other users.
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict of law principles.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date above and may notify you through the app or by email when appropriate.
Your continued use of Masoya after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
